Bookings & Social Media Manager Full-time

This job would suit an individual with sound experience in sales and marketing, preferable in the lesiure and hospitality industry, looking for a long term job prospect in the Algarve.

Job Purpose

To manage customer enquiries and booking processes, as well as create marketing campaigns and social media content.

Key Responsibilities

Bookings

Delivering a high level of customer service and sales conversions guiding customers smoothly through the booking process.

  • Dealing with customer enquiries quickly and efficiently through a variety of communication channels
  • Identifying and converting sales opportunities as they arise through great customer service
  • Managing the booking system
  • Managing transfers
  • Managing post holiday client feedback

Financial and Administrative Responsibility

Managing financial and admin processes in a highly organised manner with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Creating and handling customer bills
  • Cross checking customer payments
  • Creating invoices
  • Managing external business payments
  • Uses a variety of software to administer bookings, payments, invoices etc
  • Identifies and implements better processes

Social Media

Creating and implementing social media strategy.

  • Setting social media goals.
  • Creating and curating engaging content.
  • Identifying key success metrics and tracking, analysing and optimising results.

Communication

Communicating effectively with customers via varying business channels as well as other members of the Tiny Whale team and external stakeholders.

  • Presenting a clear and credible profile of themselves and Tiny Whale.
  • Maintaining a clear company voice.
  • Developing good working relationships with management team and third party providers.
  • Effectively managing holiday agents business relationships.

  • Sales Performance
  • Work accuracy and delivery to time.
  • Customer Feedback: verbal and online via Facebook and Trip Adviser

Requirements

Essential

  • Driving License
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Working with Booking Systems
  • Creating Simple Marketing Campaigns
  • Managing Own Workload
  • Good understanding of Brand Voice
  • High Standard of Written English
  • Computer Literate
